A HORA É ESSA is an application dedicated to the vast Capoeira community. We wanted to list all Capoeira events (rodas, batizados, workshops, festivals, and competitions) so that every capoeirista knows where to find fellow practitioners to play with tomorrow, this weekend, or next month. Never miss another workshop near you. Don’t miss a roda close to your holiday destination. The public space is an interactive world map. You’ll find all events happening in the next 7 days, 30 days, and 6 months. You can also switch to agenda view and filter events by country. Each event is displayed as a card with the organizer’s name, the exact date and time of the event. To announce your rodas, simply create a (free) account. You’ll be able to add a description to each event as well as links to your social media. The app is designed to be simple to use but scalable. Many more features and services are possible in the future. May we create stronger connections and grow the great Capoeira family a little more every day. Arm your berimbau, comrade — a hora é essa.
