About

ShapeLines

Features

Plan the path. Clear the line. Own the board. ShapeLines is a strategy puzzle about space. Slide one shape at a time along an open path and line up matching shapes to clear them. Every move that clears nothing brings new shapes, so every choice counts. A fresh Daily Challenge board waits for you every day. HOW IT PLAYS • Tap a shape, then tap an empty cell. If a path is open, the shape slides there. • Line up 3 to 6 matching shapes, depending on board size, in a row, a column or a diagonal. • A clear stops new shapes from spawning. Clear on consecutive moves for streaks up to 8x, and clear several lines at once for big combos. • The game ends when the board is full. FIVE WAYS TO PLAY, ONE PLAY SCREEN • Classic: no clock, just planning. • Time Per Move: a limit on every move, with a bonus for speed. • Rapid: one time bank for the whole game. Clear lines to earn time back. • Daily Challenge: the same board for everyone each day, in a size that changes daily. See today's best, keep your streak and know when the next board arrives. • Tactical Coach: four guided lessons that show the best move and explain why, then free practice with hints. EVERY GAME ENDS WITH A STORY The results screen shows your score against your best for that board size, your longest line, best combo and streak, time bonus and time played. Play again, share your result or take one more look at the final board. LEARN WITH ON-DEVICE AI HINTS Stuck? Turn on AI hints to compare three strong moves and see why they work. Hints are generated on your device and nothing leaves it. To keep leaderboards fair, a game in which you use a hint is saved as an assisted personal best instead of being submitted. COMPETE AND IMPROVE • Game Center leaderboards by mode and board size, plus 29 achievements • Six board sizes, from a quick 5×5 to a demanding 10×10 • Undo, score milestones, and Personal Records for every board size • iCloud sync for your game and stats PLAY YOUR WAY • Five themes, including Bold Contrast for maximum readability • Every color has its own shape, and Colorblind Mode adds a symbol to each one • VoiceOver throughout: cells announce shape, color, row and column; rotors jump between shapes and move destinations; moves, clears, points, new shapes and timer warnings are spoken • Pause timed games, optional extra time, Dynamic Type and Reduce Motion support • Hardware keyboard, plus Xbox, PlayStation and MFi controllers, with a visible cursor • Portrait and landscape on iPhone, every orientation on iPad NO STRINGS No ads, no in-app purchases, no tracking, no account. Plays fully offline. Leaderboards count unassisted games only. Games with hints, Tactical Coach sessions and games with accessibility extra time are kept as personal bests instead.
