Revise turns what you want to say into writing that sounds like you. Start with a few words, a rough draft or an idea you haven't found the words for yet. Create emails, messages, essays, posts and more, then shape every line until it says what you mean. Choose from Claude and GPT models in one writing app. Turn on Personal Voice to learn from the edits you keep, and pick up your saved drafts across iPhone, the web editor and Chrome. FROM AN IDEA TO A DRAFT Describe what you need and Revise gives you a draft to work with. A difficult email. A wedding toast. A post for your business. An idea that deserves more than a note. Write your own request or start from a suggestion shaped by what you write about. Your draft opens on an editable page, ready to develop, refine and keep. MAKE IT SAY WHAT YOU MEAN Rewrite an existing passage, adjust a new draft or work on one sentence. Make it shorter, warmer, more direct or more professional. Give a specific instruction when a preset doesn't capture what you want. Compare a rewrite with your original, then choose what to use. You decide what stays. PERSONAL VOICE Tell Revise what you write, who you write to and what you do. That context helps it write for your situation. Personal Voice learns from the edits you keep. Change a sign-off, cut an opener or choose a simpler phrase, and those preferences help shape future writing. Personal Voice is optional. See what it applied, inspect and delete what it learns, or turn it off at any time. CLAUDE AND GPT, IN ONE PLACE Revise Pro brings Claude Fable 5.1, GPT-6 Astra, Claude Opus 5.5 and GPT-6 Sol into the same writing workflow. Choose the model for your draft or rewrite, and see which model produced the result. Standard writing uses GPT-6 Luna and is available free every day, with a daily limit. YOUR DRAFTS GO WITH YOU Keep your work in Drafts and return to it when you're ready. Drafts sync between iPhone, the Revise web editor and the Chrome extension on one account. Start an email on your phone. Finish it at your desk. Keep the draft for the next time you need it. YOUR WRITING STAYS YOURS Revise does not sell your data or use your writing to train AI models. AI requests are processed by Anthropic and OpenAI under business terms that do not use them for training. You control Personal Voice and can read or delete what it learns. START FREE. CHOOSE MORE WHEN YOU NEED IT. Free includes Standard writing with a daily limit, Personal Voice, Drafts and sync. Pro includes Claude Fable 5.1, GPT-6 Astra, Claude Opus 5.5 and GPT-6 Sol, plus unlimited Standard writing. All Pro models share one daily allowance that refills through the day. Eligible new subscribers can try Pro free for 7 days. Ultra includes everything in Pro with four times the shared daily allowance, giving you more room for longer drafts and busy writing days. Standard writing does not use the shared allowance on either paid plan. When that allowance is used, you can continue with Standard while it refills. SUBSCRIPTION INFORMATION Prices are shown in your local currency before purchase. Pro and Ultra are monthly auto-renewable subscriptions. Payment is charged to your Apple account at confirmation of purchase, or after the free trial where applicable. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. An eligible free trial converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled before it ends. Verdict
The clearest difference is monetization model: Revise at freemium against Summarize's subscription. Revise also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Summarize's advantage is ratings volume (203 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Summarize sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Revise sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Revise holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Summarize has 203 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 88% of Summarize's written reviews are positive against 100% of Revise's.
Summarize ships an update fortnightly, Revise every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 12, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
