Sink It for Twitter/X is a hyper focused Safari extension that makes Twitter/X's web version usable, and more importantly, let's you meme Musk back. Tired of seeing tons of banners and buttons asking you to use the app or login? Sink It silently, and safely, removes all of them too. Removes most of the "promotional" content too! Additionally, remove those spammy blue check marks as well as go back to using the old, iconic Twitter logo. Take that X! Privacy First -------------- Sink It has been built with a privacy first approach. - All the blocking happens on your device with literally ZERO data being recorded or sent back to be data mined. - We don't keep usage data like the count of how many popups and banners it has blocked or links it has redirected. - We don't even come with basic app analytics or telemetry to keep track of how many times you've opened or use the app. - It does check whether you have dark mode on or not so it can show you the correct tutorial video. (I hate opening a bright video on dark mode as much as you.) If you're a security researcher, feel free to poke around to make sure the app isn't up to anything funky. Make the "MODERN" Twitter/X Experience Usable ------------------------------------------- Sink It for Twitter/X de-clutters and removes most “omfg please use our app” banners and buttons as well as removing advertisements. Twitter/X, wants me, and by extension you, to use their apps to consume content. Harder for us to block ads and much easier for them to scoop up your data, right? To further that agenda, simply browsing their sites on Safari now means we’re inundated with, well, waves of crap. It might be a modal covering half the screen with links to the App Store, an immediate popup asking you to login, or a header screaming “the app is 10x better”. Bottomline: it has to go. All of it.
Rub Player
Read full descriptionHide full description
Rub is a Quran player built for one thing: memorization (hifz). Its looping and verse-by-verse playback keep running flawlessly in the background, on the lock screen, with headphones, and in the car — the audio never silently stops when your screen locks. Most web players and apps quietly cut out the moment you lock the phone, breaking your repetition right when you need it most. Rub uses a real audio engine whose render thread is the clock, so an infinite loop stays rock-solid for as long as you keep listening. BUILT FOR HIFZ - Loop any selection 1x, 3x, 5x, 10x, or infinitely. The infinite loop is the heart of memorization — set it and repeat until it sticks. - Listen by RUB (240 rubs, each a quarter of a hizb) or by PAGE (604 pages of the Madani mushaf). - Dual bookmarks: separate Memorize and Review tabs, each remembering its own last position, so you can drill new material and revise old without ever losing your place. 19 RECITERS - A wide range across Murattal, Mujawwad, Muallim, and Kids-repeat styles — including Mishari al-Afasy, AbdulBaset AbdulSamad, Al-Husary, Al-Minshawi, As-Sudais, Sa'ad al-Ghamdi, and Abu Bakr al-Shatri. WORKS OFFLINE - Download a single rub or an entire reciter (all 114 chapters) and play with no connection. Airplane mode works. EVERYWHERE YOU LISTEN - Full background, lock-screen, and Control Center controls. - CarPlay now-playing with title and reciter, plus next and previous to jump rub or page. CALM, FOCUSED DESIGN - Arabic verse text in the authentic Amiri Quran script, with the current ayah indicated. - Swipe left or right to jump between rubs or pages. - A clean, distraction-free Liquid Glass interface in a quiet deep-green palette. PRIVATE BY DESIGN - No ads. No tracking. No sign-up. No accounts. - Your reciter, loop count, and bookmarks are stored only on your device. Recitation audio and verse timings are free, publicly available Quran recitations served from QuranCDN / Quran.com community infrastructure. Sincere thanks to Quran.com, QuranCDN, and the reciters whose voices make this possible. Arabic text uses the Amiri Quran font under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. May Allah make it easy and accept it from all of us.
