Stay current with the plastic surgery literatures in a few minutes a day! The Plastics Brief brings new papers, landmark studies, and useful reading tools into one place for plastic surgeons, trainees, students, and researchers. Browse recent PubMed-indexed articles from Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Aesthetic Surgery Journal, PRS Global Open, JPRAS, and Annals of Plastic Surgery. With appropriate permissions, open the original paper whenever you want more context. READ WHAT MATTERS Choose Short, Medium, or Detailed summaries drawn from available article text. On compatible iPhones, an optional experimental AI feature can create a brief on the device. Standard summaries remain available to everyone. Search recent research, filter articles by journal and topic, and explore papers connected to your learning plan. MAKE YOUR FEED YOUR OWN Follow researchers whose work interests you and find their articles in your personal feed. See which papers readers are liking and opening, with popular lists for the past week, month, or all time. DISCUSS THE LITERATURE Read article discussions without an account. Sign in to comment, reply, and report or block content. Visit a commenter’s profile to see their recent discussions. You can add an optional public profile photo, title, and affiliation. Titles and affiliations are self-reported. An optional checkmark confirms access to an eligible institution email domain; it does not verify identity, employment, or professional credentials. KEEP LEARNING Save papers in custom folders, write private notes, revisit landmark articles, learn about people who shaped the field, and practice Recall prompts. Track your reading streak and activity over time. Saved articles, notes, and reading history stay on your device. The Plastics Brief is an independent educational resource developed by VitaNexus LLC in collaboration with Joseph Quick. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by PubMed, the National Library of Medicine, or featured journals or publishers. Summaries and discussions do not replace critical review of the original article, professional judgment, or medical advice.
