About

Hexstead

Features

Hexstead is a cozy board game of dice, land, and rivalry. Settle a valley of hexes, and claim the realm before the seasons turn. Every round starts with a roll of the dice - every hex matching the roll pays its owner. Spend your harvest to claim new tiles, upgrade your land, and chase your secret goal. But watch the roads: roll a seven and the bandit rides, blocking a hex and stealing from whoever owns it. HOW IT PLAYS - Roll two dice, then choose: activate the sum, or each die on its own - Claim free tiles with wood and brick, upgrade them to double their yield - Play cards to bend the rules: shift a die, charter distant land, or send the bandit after a rival - Buy landmarks for lasting powers, like warding the bandit off your fields - First to 15 points wins - or the richest realm when round 15 ends SHARP RIVALS Face 1 to 3 bots with real strategies of their own. Start Easy, then test yourself against Fair and Cruel opponents with bigger score bonuses on the line. MADE FOR QUICK SESSIONS A full match runs about ten minutes. Play offline, anywhere, in portrait with one hand. Hexstead is free to play against an Easy rival. A single one-time purchase unlocks every difficulty, matches with up to 3 rivals, and removes ads for good. No subscriptions, no consumables.
