[Believe in the Mountain Deity, Transcend Life and Death, Summon Souls in the Coffin to Recall the Beloved] Legend speaks of a remote village in the Xilian Mountain area, where devotees worship the "Mountain Deity". When calamity strikes, the deity manifests its power through "soul summoning" to bring back spirits from the afterlife - but each summoning demands a corresponding sacrifice. Detective Peng Ze ventures into this isolated region to investigate a series of disappearances, his clues leading to the ancient Hejia Village. During his investigation, an unexpected accident plunges him into the village's hidden depths. Amid grotesque monsters, bizarre murders, and layers of deception, Peng Ze finds himself questioning reality itself. In this realm where the living yearn for immortality and the undead long for rest, those who perform soul-summoning rituals stain their hands with blood, all to earn a divine glance that might summon souls to their coffins.
