The eLO SFP app enables users to quickly and easily identify the manufacturer for which the LightOptics fiber optic module has been programmed. Simply point the camera at the barcode or enter the serial number and the app will display transceiver specifications such as part number, brief description, serial number, compatibility. The application supports only transceivers of the Lightoptics manufacturer of the following types: SFP, SFP+, SFP28, QSFP+, QSFP28, and DAC cables. Together with the LightBoard programmer, the eLO SFP application allows self-configuration of SFP, SFP+, SFP28, QSFP+, QSFP28 transceivers, and DAC cables (individually each end), to any switch manufacturer. Configuration is only 2 clicks! Simply indicate the manufacturer and click save. You can program the cartridges multiple times and reinstall them in different devices. The device runs in the ‘cloud’, so it is continuously updated with new hardware versions, new interfaces, so it does not need constant updates. trx-control is not a standalone app. It requires a trx-control(7) installation with a running trxd(8) daemon that has WebSockets enabled. The app connects to trxd(8) using a WebSockets and displays all transceivers and extensions that have been configured for client access. The trx-control app is mainly used by radio amateurs to operate transceivers and other hamradio related hardware. Please note that in order to use the callsign lookup feature, a valid QRZ.com subscription is needed.
