PALINGENESIS is a music video game. The album by GRIGS unfolds as a series of interactive animated worlds, with each environment built around a different song. Created entirely by animator and musician John Paul Grigsby, PALINGENESIS brings together hand-crafted animation, interactive environments, and visual sequences that appear as you move through each world. About

Opening a Bar

Features

Open a bar in another world. Serve monsters. Keep your promises. Pay your debt. After an accident sends you to a modern fantasy city, an ancient shadow demon offers you a chance to follow your dream: reopen her shuttered bar, The Last Cup. The keys come with a loan, and every night you must earn enough to keep the doors open. Opening a Bar in Another World combines hands-on drink preparation, character conversations, and light bar management. Every guest sits directly across the counter. Every order is a chance to hear a story, earn someone's trust, or accept a request that could change the night. SERVE A DRINK. HEAR A STORY. Meet supernatural regulars, including an oni transit guard, an imp courier, and the mysterious demon who owns your bar. Take their orders, choose your replies, and learn what they need beyond a drink. LEARN THE BAR Mix magical ingredients, brew hot drinks, and serve chilled bottles across three preparation stations. Consult your recipe book, manage your supplies, and discover how a perfect pour or an unexpected substitution changes a guest's reaction. DECIDE WHAT CROSSES THE COUNTER Hold a sealed parcel for someone arriving later. Reserve a scarce drink. Choose between loyalty and an offer of quick cash. Requests, item handoffs, and dialogue choices leave consequences that carry into later visits. KEEP THE LIGHTS ON Balance service with conversation as guests arrive and leave. Buy supplies, improve the bar, and meet the night's required take. Fall short, and Shadow can call in the loan. THREE NIGHTS AT THE LAST CUP Play through three nights with recurring guests, changing conversations, and closing recaps that reflect your promises, relationships, and the things left behind the counter. • Illustrated fantasy guests in a modern, atmospheric bar • Character conversations with choices and delayed consequences • Mixer, coffee machine, and refrigerator drink preparation • Recipes, supplies, bar upgrades, and nightly financial pressure • Character requests and items entrusted to your care • Save and resume your game • Adjustable text speed, audio settings, and difficulty • English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean text A drink, a story, or a promise. What will you pass across the counter?
