Routine Trials keeps your user-recorded battery-use observations in a local notebook and compares a changed habit with its baseline only when conditions match. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open Power Lab and choose Routine Trials. Explore the clearly labeled example to see how matching works. 2. Record completed trials with their activity, changed habit, timing, battery percentages, brightness, network and surroundings. Flag charging or interruptions. 3. Collect at least three matching pairs, inspect the median drain rates and reading-resolution limits, then share the observation report. Battery Action Plan, Scenario Studio, foreground battery history, charging sessions, trip planning, thermal tools and offline references remain available. Routine Trials is prominently linked from Power Lab. Corrupt trial files are preserved and blocked from overwrite. WHAT TO KNOW Battery readings and conditions are manually recorded. This is not battery health, capacity measurement, continuous monitoring or proof of causation. Trials last 15–240 minutes; less than two percentage points of drain is excluded. Pairing requires matching activity/network/surroundings, brightness and start levels within 5 points, and duration within 25%. Observations are never reused or counted across overlapping periods.
