Letter Set Typography vs RoomDraftAI

A cave painting, hidden for centuries in the Lascaux network. A cuneiform tablet, waiting for millennia beneath the earth. A papyrus scroll, entombed amongst the ash in Pompeii. The work of an artist, the sign of one's hand; the idea made permanent through perseverance, practice and piedmont. I miss imperfection. I miss being able to see the artist’s hand behind their work. I do not accept that the digital tools we use have to hide these things, even in lettering. Let's celebrate the artistic rendition of information, together. Let's remember the struggle of exact character placement, the misadventures of substituting a zero for an O, the beauty of a printed font catalog, and the tactile sensation of using rub-on lettering in an era well before the phrase "Desktop publishing" meant anything other than what one did on a desk.

RoomDraftAI is an app that generates fictional room and space layouts using AI. It’s not designed to create finished floor plans or technical drawings. Instead, it focuses on rough drafts and layout ideas to support creative thinking. The generated layouts are simple, sketch-like, and easy to interpret. They show room placement, connections, and spatial flow— leaving plenty of room for your own imagination. RoomDraftAI is ideal for creative projects such as: • Worldbuilding for RPGs or stories • Planning fictional spaces and environments • Generating layout ideas for games, illustrations, or writing You can choose different styles, moods, and eras, and the AI will generate a unique layout each time. Even with the same settings, no two results are exactly the same. Because the layouts are intentionally rough and minimal, they don’t force a specific answer or design. They exist to spark ideas, not replace creativity. If you ever feel stuck staring at a blank page, or just want a quick starting point for your next idea, RoomDraftAI is here to help you get moving.
