Cibus Tec is the benchmark global event for food and beverage industry technologies and innovations, scheduled to take place in Parma from October 27–30, 2026. For over eighty years, Cibus Tec has supported the evolution of the food industry, promoting dialogue between businesses, research, and universities, and fostering technological innovation and skill distribution across the entire food & beverage value chain, with a significant presence in all product sectors and a strong market-oriented context. Today, the exhibition represents a privileged observation point and discussion forum on the major transformations reshaping the sector—from automation to digitalization, and from sustainability to food safety—offering a comprehensive overview of the solutions and models that will drive its future development. Cibus Tec 2026 is enriched with new special projects dedicated to two strategic supply chains in the food and beverage industry: "Bakery? Yes, we tec!" and "Beverage? Yes, we tec!". These two thematic areas are fully dedicated to the most innovative technologies and solutions for baked goods and the beverage sector, covering the entire production process from raw material processing to packaging and end-of-line systems. Alongside the exhibition area, Cibus Tec 2026 presents an extensive program of special zones, conferences, and events designed to connect technologies, skills, and people, providing professional development and networking opportunities for the entire supply chain. Among the initiatives is the Demo Factory, featuring live demonstrations of two fully operational, highly automated production lines; the Startup Area, showcasing a selection of top projects and solutions to foster innovation; and the Talent Academy, created with the support of Cisita Parma. The Talent Academy promotes dialogue between education and industry, facilitating connections between students, educators, and companies in the food technology sector through discussions on future skills. A key highlight of this year is the strategic partnership with Federvini, the federation representing Italian companies in the wine, spirits, and vinegar sectors, which helps bring the wine industry to the trade show. Hall 3 hosts several leading suppliers of technologies and solutions for the winemaking sector. Additionally, on October 29, a workshop dedicated entirely to the wine industry will take place, featuring high-profile speaker panels from Italy and abroad to address strategic issues impacting the supply chain's competitiveness—ranging from international trade agreements and evolving European regulatory frameworks to sustainability challenges. Highlighting innovation, the conference "Food 5.0: From AI to Automation for Safe and Competitive Production"—organized by SPS Italia and scheduled for October 30—focuses on the technologies transforming the food industry. Artificial intelligence, automation, process digitalization, and data utilization will be at the center of discussions among experts, companies, and industry operators, aimed at exploring how new technologies contribute to competitiveness, safety, and sustainability in food production. Cibus Tec 2026 takes place concurrently with Labotec, the benchmark event for laboratory innovation, technology, and scientific analysis. Entry to both trade shows is free to encourage broader professional participation and maximize the reach of the technical and scientific content offered. Free admission passes can be downloaded by registering on the official event website's online ticketing portal.

About

ResQMesh

Features

ResQMesh keeps a team in touch where there is no mobile coverage. The iPhone connects over Bluetooth to a small LoRa radio board, and the boards pass messages, positions and ALERTs to one another, forming a mesh network with no network, no SIM and no Internet. IN AN EMERGENCY, CALL 112 FIRST Or the emergency number of your country. ResQMesh supports communication; it is not an emergency service and must not be the only way to ask for help. Messages, positions and ALERTs depend on the terrain, on batteries and on other boards switched on and within range: delivery is not guaranteed. THE ALERT Hold the ALERT button for three seconds: your position goes to every board of the network, and your board repeats it until another one confirms it. You see who confirmed, and the others see where you are, with distance and direction. The ALERT is always free: you can send it, receive it and confirm it without a licence. It also starts from the Action button, from Shortcuts and from the Apple Watch. FREE, NO LICENCE - The ALERT, sent, received and confirmed - APRS on 433 MHz: beacons, APRS conversations in the Chat tab and the stations your board hears, also on the map WITH THE ANNUAL LICENCE - Channels and private chats, with delivery confirmation and ready replies - Encryption on 868 MHz: network key and private messages encrypted by the app - The team on the map and in the network list, with how each board was heard - The network profile as a QR code: the whole team with the same radio settings, channels and network key in a few seconds - The channel check, to pick a free frequency before you go out - The LoRa APRS stations around you from the Internet - Apple Watch, CarPlay and Siri: read and send messages, follow an ALERT ENCRYPTION AND PROTECTION The capomaglia creates a network key and shares it with the network profile: on 868 MHz the boards encrypt channels, private messages and positions, and boards without the key cannot read them. Private messages can also be encrypted by the app for the operator they are written to, and the capomaglia approves, removes and readmits the operators of the network. ALERTs and Emergency-Net always stay in clear, so that anyone within range can read them. On 433 MHz encryption is not allowed and everything travels in clear. Every board is protected by a Bluetooth PIN: your iPhone keeps it and gives it at every connection, other phones need it to connect. MADE FOR THE FIELD - Works with the phone locked: notifications, Live Activity on the lock screen and in the Dynamic Island - Widgets for the board, active ALERTs and unread messages - History synced with iCloud across your devices, with private messages kept encrypted - The manual is inside the app and reads without a network - English and Italian, following the language of your iPhone - Try it without a board: the demo board shows the whole app with simulated traffic THE BOARDS ResQMesh works on Heltec Wireless Tracker, LilyGO T-Deck Plus, LilyGO T-Echo Plus, SenseCAP T1000-E, Elecrow ThinkNode M1 and M5Stack Cardputer ADV boards with the ResQMesh firmware, free on railab.com. On 433 MHz an amateur radio licence is required; on 868 MHz no radio licence is needed. ResQMesh is made by Railab Srl, Brescia, Italy. Licence: the annual subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. You can manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings.
