How would the draw and games play out of a your own custom format? Simulate it, several times if needed and come to your own conclusion of how exciting or boring it could be :-) Cricket tournament simulator allows you to build your own fantasy tournament format by selecting from various parameters 1. Number of teams 2. Tournament format 3. Number of groups 4. Number of groups in the 2nd stage (if the format supports it) and their structure. 5. The first Knock out phase in the tournament Could preselect a format from a previous year of the cup. Don’t like any of the previous year templates, then build your own exciting tournament. The model will correct you and give you suggestions/explainations during configuration if the combination of parameters you are choosing defies the math :-) The model uses the current rankings of the teams in determining the teams that qualify and the draw. Also uses these as probability when deciding on the results of a game. Supports various tournament formats that occurred previously between 1975-2023 1. Groups followed by knock out stages, the one you have got used to and thought that's the only one used, if you are not old enough :-) 2. Groups followed by a 2nd stage of groups and then a much more reduced knock out stage. This is my particular favourite. 3. Formats that have not been used a. Only knockouts. b. Group followed by a Finals group, no knockouts. Winner is winner of the finals group. c. Finals Group, one group winner takes it all Happy Tournament building!!

CricSim puts you in charge of a cricket team and lets you take it as far as you can. Pick a franchise in the Indian T20 League, or lead a nation on the world stage. Draft your squad, work out your best eleven, and find out whether your plan survives contact with match day. THREE FORMATS, PLAYED PROPERLY T20, ODI and Test cricket, each with its own rhythm. Test matches run over five days and three sessions, so you can declare, enforce the follow on, or dig in and save the draw. ODIs give you the powerplay and the death overs. T20 brings the impact sub and the super over. TWO WAYS TO BUILD A CAREER Take a franchise through a full league season, fourteen rounds and into the playoffs. Or manage a national side through a world tournament, or a bilateral series of one, three or five matches against a single rival. DRAFT THE SQUAD YOU WANT Start with the current squads, or open the mega draft and build yours from scratch. Want something bigger? Draft from pools of all time greats in T20, ODI or Test cricket. Then name your captain, your vice captain and your keeper. CALL EVERY BALL, OR NONE OF THEM Step into the match hub and run it yourself. Set the aggression, choose your bowler, decide who walks in after a wicket. Or hand it to the engine and come back for the scorecard. MAKE THE NAMES YOUR OWN Export the player list, rename anyone you like in a spreadsheet, and bring it back in. Your squad, your names. KEEP THE DYNASTY GOING Follow the table, watch your net run rate, pore over the season stats. Decide who to keep between seasons and who to let go. Then go again. No ads. No pay to win. Just cricket.
