A line a day, at a moment you'll actually read it. Vera shows you one affirmation at a time, set in large serif type on a canvas you choose. Swipe for the next. Keep the ones that land. Put them on your lock screen and let them find you. WRITTEN, NOT GENERATED Every line was written and read by a person before it shipped. 1,520 of them in English. The Russian corpus is written in Russian rather than translated, with correct grammatical agreement — the thing machine translation gets wrong roughly half the time, and the reason most affirmation apps read strangely in Russian. YOU WON'T SEE THE SAME LINE TWICE FOR 60 DAYS Repetition is what makes an affirmations app feel empty after a fortnight. Vera remembers every line it has shown you and does not come back to it. WIDGETS Lock screen and home screen. The line is already there when you pick up your phone, and tapping it opens exactly the one you were looking at. REMINDERS THAT CARRY SOMETHING Every notification contains a real affirmation — never "open the app!". Choose the hours you want them in and how many. The default is two a day and the ceiling is deliberately low. YOUR OWN LINES Write your own. They mix into the feed, the reminders and the widgets beside the curated ones. EIGHT PACKS Confidence · Calm · Focus · Self-worth · Morning · Evening · Gratitude · Hard days KEPT, AND BACKED UP Everything you save syncs through your own iCloud and exports as plain text or JSON whenever you ask. No account, no email, no password — there is nothing to log in to and nothing to lose. WORKS WITH NO SIGNAL All of the writing ships inside the app. Nothing is fetched, so nothing can go down. Nothing you write or save ever leaves your phone. FREE, AND PAID Free, permanently: three packs, one reminder a day, the widget, unlimited lines of your own, your whole collection, and export. Vera Premium adds all eight packs, all seven themes, separate reminder schedules for different days, and your name in the lines. · Weekly — US$2.99, after a 3-day free trial · Yearly — US$19.99 · Lifetime — US$39.99 once. Not a subscription: nothing renews and there is nothing to cancel. Subscriptions renew until you cancel, which you can do at any time in your iPhone's Settings. If you take the trial, Vera sends you a notification the day before it ends — before you are charged, not after. There are no ads, no streak you can pay to repair, and no screen you cannot get out of. Vera is not therapy and not treatment. It does not promise to change your health, your income or your circumstances. Reading a line can support your mood for a moment, and that is the whole of what it offers.
