REMAIN! vs PROJECT REMOTE

REMAIN is a research study app designed to provide health and wellness information and resources relevant to adults in the United States. REMAIN covers a range of health and lifestyle topics to support users’ diverse backgrounds and varying needs over time. The principal investigators for this study are Pamina Gorbach, DrPH, at the University of California, Los Angeles, Lisa Hightow-Weidman, MD, MPH, at Florida State University, and Sean Young, PhD, at the University of California, Irvine. The HMP platform was created by Lisa Hightow-Weidman, a public health scientist. HMP users need a code to open the app. To learn more about the study, email RemainApp@ph.ucla.edu. This app is intended for use by participants in the REMOTE study and requires an invitation and activation code from the study site to register. Longitudinal assessment of potential immunologic correlates of risk and protection following COVID-19 vaccination comparing remote and site-based specimen collection (feasibility, validity, and proof of concept). This study has been reviewed and approved by the appropriate regulatory body, e.g. Institutional Review Board (IRB) or Independent Ethics Committee (IEC).
