Created by Lisa Hightow-Weidman, MD, MPH, a public health scientist, EPICC+ is a research study with the goal to: 1) adapt and enhance existing education tools to facilitate PrEP decision making between providers and clients, 2) train providers on the use of the adapted education tools and communication techniques, and 3) evaluate the impact by following a group of racially and geographically diverse youth over 12-18 months. EPICC+ users need a code to open the app. To learn more about the study, email EPICC@nursing.fsu.edu. This mobile app is intended for informational, educational and research purposes only. No content in this app is intended to substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. While we do have board certified health care providers on our team, we are not YOUR health care provider. Participation in this app does not establish any kind of patient-client relationship. Although we strive to provide accurate general information, the content presented in the app is not a substitute for professional advice. Always seek the advice of YOUR physician or another qualified health care provider in your area with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition or treatment and before undertaking a new health care regimen, and never delay in seeking medical treatment because of something you read on this app. If you think you may have a medical emergency, immediately dial 911.
