ASCAP is the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers, a performing rights organization (PRO) representing over 1.1 million of the greatest songwriters, composers and music publishers in the world. We’re the only PRO in America operating on a not-for-profit basis, and the only one that puts creators first. We get you paid when your music is played ASCAP’s main job is to pay you royalties when your music is played publicly by the businesses we license. And we’re really good at what we do! In 2024, we achieved revenues of $1.835 billion, and distributed $1.696 billion to our songwriter, composer and publisher members. We put music creators first We pay our members all of the music licensing revenue we take in, minus our operating expenses (among the lowest in the industry). Our governing documents require us to pay music creators first – a claim that only ASCAP can make. We’re led by music creators like you ASCAP is the only PRO in the US founded and governed by songwriters, composers and music publishers. Every decision about how we operate is made by music creators like you – not broadcasters, corporations and investors, like our competitors. We innovate ASCAP offers the most advanced data processing systems of any PRO, to ensure that you get paid fairly and accurately. Our ASCAP Lab explores how new technologies and new business approaches can drive value for our members and the businesses that use their music.

About

DJFanz

Your sound. Your next connection. DJFanz connects independent artists and DJs around original music and in-person performances. New paid bookings are currently unavailable while payment activation is completed; libraries, profiles and existing activity remain accessible. FOR ARTISTS Organize your original tracks in a private music library. Explore reviewed DJs, compare eligible venue schedules, and prepare for a track performance at a specific in-person event. Requests become available only after platform and DJ payment readiness are verified. Follow each request and review its completion evidence. FOR DJs Create your professional profile and introduction, submit your experience for administrator review, and plan venues with a guided schedule. Approved DJs can manage eligible requests and pause new bookings. PROOF WITH CONTEXT For an accepted request, the DJ submits a short video record of the performance. The artist can approve the proof or raise a dispute for administrator review. Acceptance alone does not mark a track as played or release the DJ's payment. Video proof and human review do not guarantee promotion results or independently verify airplay. A COMMUNITY WITH CLEAR RULES Connect through profiles and messages. Report concerning content, block unwanted contact, and open Help & safety for support. You can request account deletion in the app and follow its status if existing obligations delay completion. DJFanz bookings are limited to permitted in-person venues, including lounges, clubs, private parties, weddings, festivals, and live events. Radio and broadcast placements are prohibited. Share recordings only with the necessary permissions. DJs may not download, retain, or redistribute artist tracks. Eligible physical-performance bookings use Stripe. The DJ's price, service fee, and applicable tax are shown before payment. Payment is charged at checkout; artist proof approval or an administrator's release schedules the DJ's net transfer. Bank payout is separate and depends on the DJ's Stripe account. Booking availability depends on platform payment readiness, DJ approval, an eligible venue, and current availability. Audio playback requires the app to remain in the foreground. Request updates appear in the in-app notification inbox.
