今日摄影 vs PolaCam+

Inspired by the Ricoh GR, which tells me how many photos I've taken today when it turns on, carrying a camera to work every day is not practical. However, smartphones have already become an integral part of our photography. So, I bring you a desktop widget for today's photography count, encouraging everyone to take more photos every day.

PolaCam+ — Relive the beauty of instant film There’s something unforgettable about the sound of a shutter, and the quiet anticipation as a photo slowly develops. PolaCam+ brings back that instant film experience in a digital world—not as another filter camera, but as a way of feeling photography again. Each shot becomes more than an image. It becomes something you can almost hold. From the moment you open the camera, the experience feels familiar. A retro-inspired interface, subtle haptic feedback, and the sound of a real shutter make every capture feel intentional. Film-like tones, light leaks, grain, and dust textures add imperfections that make each photo unique. Your photos don’t just stay in a grid. They appear like physical prints on a desk—something you can move, rotate, and resize freely. They feel placed, not stored. Tap an edge, and you can flip them over to reveal what’s written on the back. On the back, you can add your own words—titles, notes, or memories tied to the moment. PolaCam+ supports handwritten-style fonts in Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean, with more styles coming over time to expand how you express your stories. In a world where we take more photos than ever but revisit fewer of them, PolaCam+ slows things down. It brings intention back into photography—so each moment is not only captured, but remembered.
