Loadex is a workout log for strength training and running, with progressive overload built in. It sets next session's weight and reps from what you logged, suggests today's run, and builds your weekly running around your lifting. IMPORT YOUR HISTORY Bring your logged training over from Strong or Hevy. Export a CSV and Loadex reads the sessions, sets and exercises and matches them to its library. LOGGING Set, rep and weight entry built for speed. Rest timers run on the lock screen. Supersets and circuits, warm-up and plate calculators, and a full history with per-exercise records. RUNNING AND HYBRID TRAINING Record a run from the home screen and follow distance, time and pace as you go. A finished run has its own page with your splits, route, the intensity it landed in, and your previous best at that distance. Runs are written back to Apple Health. Suggested runs progress around your lifting and keep long runs and hard sessions clear of heavy leg days. Or run your own plan: an easy run, long run, tempo, intervals or strides, counted in your week. Runs, rides, rows, hikes, swims and team sports from Apple Health join your history, recognized by name. A hard run, ride or hike in the 48 hours before a leg day shows on that day's guidance card. A Cardio page in Insights: 12 weeks of training time by intensity beside your lifting, and best efforts per distance. Training load, monotony and strain read lifting, running and conditioning together. EXERCISES Over 1,000 exercises with muscle maps and instructions. Create your own. AUTO-PROGRESSION Pick a scheme per exercise (Linear, Double Progression, Percentage-Wave, Top Set and Back-off, or Manual). Loadex writes next session's targets onto your workout when you finish. The Progression Report shows what advanced, what held, and where a lift has stalled. INSIGHTS A weekly muscle heatmap, sets by body part, weekly volume against published hypertrophy ranges (MEV/MAV/MRV), strength trajectory per lift, a squat, bench and deadlift total for powerlifting, effective volume by logged RIR, and bodyweight and energy trends. READINESS Loadex reads sleep, HRV, resting heart rate and respiratory rate from Apple Health, scores each against your own baseline, and flags when today's intensity is worth easing. A one-tap daily check-in works with no wearable. Target adjustments are opt-in and reversible. CALORIES An EPOC-based estimate of resistance training's afterburn, written back to Apple Health. CONDITIONING AND STRETCHING A circuit routed around the muscle groups your lifting is about to fatigue, plus stretches for the ones you just trained. COACH A weekly or monthly review of your logged training in plain language: new records, what is trending, and what to try next. PRIVACY Your training is stored on your device. Health data is read through Apple Health and is never sold. It leaves your device only when you sign in and back up, and there is no automatic cloud sync. FREE AND PRO Free includes 4 workout blueprints, 1 program folder, unlimited history, recorded runs and cardio import, two suggested runs a week, Easy and Long custom runs, the Linear and Manual schemes, the record side of Insights, and two conditioning blocks a week. Pro removes the blueprint and program limits, adds the Double Progression, Percentage-Wave and Top Set and Back-off schemes with an RIR floor, unlimited conditioning and suggested runs, Tempo, Intervals and Strides custom runs, the Coach review, workload and monotony tracking, recovery correlation and next-session guidance. Loadex Pro is an auto-renewing subscription ($7.99/month or $39.99/year). Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID account settings. Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: (r)evolve cycling at none against Loadex's 2. (r)evolve cycling also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). Loadex's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 days vs monthly). On price, rating and review sentiment there is nothing between them.
