TimberMetric vs Diametree

TimberMetric is a wood calculator – a little different. It lets you quickly calculate all important values for sawn timber and roundwood, such as volume, area, price, and more. Each calculation can be named and enriched with comments. You can also attach photos to every calculation, making documentation simple and practical. With the Pro version, calculations can be exported as PDF files and sent by email directly from the app. Interested in a customized print layout? Or maybe in a completely different form-based data collection, such as delivery notes, transport orders, reports, agricultural forms, and more? Get in touch with us – we’re happy to help!

This application uses LiDAR technology to detect a tree trunk and calculate its DBH (diameter at breast height), a standard forestry measurement taken 1.30 meters above the base. The app accurately captures depth and dimensional data to quickly and non-invasively assess the tree’s thickness.
