Founded in 2018, Skydance is Oklahoma City's first brewery to be majority Native Owned. Our founder, CEO and head of brewing, Jake Keyes, is a citizen of the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma. Our story begins when Jake learned to brew beer from his father at a very young age. That shared passion sparked a dream to open a brewery with his dad that would remain just a dream for decades. After the untimely death of his father, Jake realized we are never promised "tomorrow" and he became determined to chase that dream. Today Skydance is not only a fulfillment of that dream, but also serves as a source of representation for inspiring Indigenous entrepreneurs.
