Le Pole Trail brings you on a journey through the history of Dublin, from its beginnings as a Viking settlement to when this quarter of the city teemed with tenement life in the late nineteenth century. In 1981 Le Pole Square was the site of one of Dublin’s largest archaeological excavations, uncovering a wealth of artefacts that help to paint a picture of the city’s earliest years.
