CourtTally

Badminton has a scoring system that punishes you for looking away. Who serves next? Which service court? Did the partners swap? CourtTally keeps all of it straight, so the only thing you do is tap whoever won the rally. SCORING THAT KNOWS THE RULES • Rally point scoring for singles and doubles • Serve, service court and doubles rotation tracked automatically • Win by two, the cap at 30, and changing ends at 11 in a deciding game • One game, best of three, or best of five • Undo any point — the score is rebuilt exactly, never patched BUILT TO BE READ FROM THE COURT Stand your phone at the side of the court and the score stays legible from the far tramline. The serving side is outlined, with a bar showing which service court the serve is coming from. The screen stays awake for the whole match. SCORE FROM YOUR WRIST The Apple Watch app is a full scoreboard, not a remote. Tap or swipe towards whoever won the rally; swipe down to undo. It works with your phone in your bag and syncs when the two are back together — so nobody has to walk back to the sideline between rallies. A SUMMARY WORTH READING When the match ends you get a written account of how it was won: game by game, who held serve, the longest run, how the lead changed, and how long you actually played. Long breaks aren't counted as playing time. Everything CourtTally does happens on your device. There is no account, no sign-in, and nothing is uploaded.
