Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: TorahResource at 100% against Musical Multiplication's 75%. TorahResource also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (4.5 vs 4.3). Musical Multiplication's advantage is ratings volume (141 vs 4) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Musical Multiplication sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and TorahResource sells 12 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
TorahResource holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Musical Multiplication has 141 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 75% of Musical Multiplication's written reviews are positive against 100% of TorahResource's.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
