GuruDaily - daily alignment through a single trusted truth. Not a productivity app. Not a life coach. A gentle private practice to bring you back into alignment. GuruDaily helps you calibrate your internal compass with the simplest, most human ritual: reminders of the short sentence you choose as your personal Guru, your truth, when you need it most. Why this app exists Modern life scatters attention across messages, news, work and expectations. Small drifts accumulate: behavior standards blur, decisions feel unanchored, values shift without your choice. GuruDaily focuses on one thing: calibration. We return your attention to a small set of personally chosen truths so your choices can be measured against a steady internal standard. Core idea In GuruDaily, a Guru equals a truth you decide to keep near. It can be your own sentence, a line from a teacher or book, or a direct question that opens clarity in hard moments, for example “What is holding you back?” The app does not tell you who to become. It helps you keep what you already care about consistent and aligned. Key features and benefits Add your truths 1 to 3 short lines you can edit anytime. Turning a value or rule into a short phrase makes it easier to notice and apply. Smart gentle reminders 1 to 10 times per day, configurable. Randomized or scheduled, drawn only from your truths. Calm notifications that nudge without nagging. Activation ritual A full screen presentation of your primary truth with a button such as “I remember”. The ritual helps you claim the truth psychologically and increases follow through. Internalization path Know -> Remind -> Habit -> Internalize. Repetition plus timely triggers convert external cues into internal voices. A 90 day practice window is suggested for observable change. Inspiration bank Curated examples across categories: behavior, boundary, belief and question prompts. Examples lower the friction of getting started. Minimal daily check No journaling required. Opening the app and viewing a truth counts as a calibration. Optional streaks and gentle milestones are available but not emphasized. Privacy by design Truths live locally by default and are encrypted if synced. We do not use your truths for advertising or model training without explicit consent. Optional visual export Create a simple graphic of a truth to save or share. Sharing is user initiated only. Everyday scenarios During a stressful workday you receive “You are not someone else s emotional processor” and set a boundary. In panic the question “What is holding you back?” shifts you from rumination to an actionable step. At night a calming truth like “You are allowed to rest” helps you fall asleep. Design principles Restraint over noise. Ritual not routine. Agency first. Warm clarity. Notifications are minimal, copy is gentle, UI is uncluttered. How to start 1. Download and open the app. 2. Read the short onboarding. 3. Write 1 meaningful truth and up to 2 more if you want. 4. Activate it with the ritual button. 5. Allow notification permission. 6. Notice when a reminder arrives and pause. That pause is the practice. Privacy summary Your truths are private by default. Local storage and encryption. No analysis or monetization of your truths without permission. Sharing requires explicit user action. Final promise GuruDaily s purpose is modest and humane: a daily private practice that keeps you aligned with standards you choose. Over time, those reminders are designed to stop being external prompts and become the internal voice you consult in moments of drift. Ultimately we hope you can put down this app, because you have learned to tell that important sentence to yourself in your own mind.
