You pay for several streaming services and still spend ages deciding what to watch. Then you give up and rewatch something. five. fixes that with a constraint: five movies, one week. That's the whole app. HOW IT WORKS Tell us which streaming services you actually pay for and where you live. Every week you get five films — all of them streaming on your services, in your country, right now. No endless grid. No infinite scroll. Five. Watch one. Mark it watched. Come back next week for five new ones. WHY FIVE The limit is the feature. A short list is a decision you can make in a minute. A long list is another evening lost to browsing. Not feeling one of them? Use a skip to swap just that film — five skips a week. Already seen one? Swap it out the same way. Want a whole new five? You get a few shuffles a week, so they count. BUILT AROUND WHAT YOU ALREADY PAY FOR Pick your services and your region, and every recommendation respects both. Nothing surfaces that you'd have to rent, subscribe to, or hunt down. Each film shows where it's streaming and opens there in a tap. TUNE IT, OR LEAVE IT ALONE • Moods — Cozy night in, Keep me on edge, Make me laugh, Family night, and more • Best Of — award winners, what's trending, and the best of the major services you have • Genres — narrow it down, or keep it wide open • Decades — stay in the 90s, or don't • More like a film — name one you loved and build the week around it • Quality — Crowd Favorites, Critically Loved, or Wide Net • Search — find any film, see its director and cast, and pin it to an upcoming week A WEEK IS THE POINT Your five last seven days. Watch them, skip them, or let them go — either way, five new picks land on reset day. The deadline is what stops this becoming another list you never finish. WHAT YOU WATCH, REMEMBERED Everything you mark watched builds a history, a streak, and your stats: top genres, favourite decades, which services you actually use. Rank what you watch in a couple of taps, and your picks lean further your way. Earn 26 badges as you go — your 100th film, a finished saga, five languages, a weekend binge — most with three stars to work toward, and tap any badge to see the films behind it. Then share a card of your top five, your stats and your best badges. Free for everyone. Already log films elsewhere? Import your watched list from a Letterboxd export and start where you are. IN ENGLISH OR SPANISH The whole app — film titles and synopses included — in English or Spanish. It follows your phone, or switch any time. PREMIUM five. is free to use. Premium adds five things, with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers: • Three we think you'll love — every week, three films picked purely on your taste • The taste dial — slide from safe bets to surprise me • Your taste profile — the genre fingerprint and anchor films behind your picks • Browse by director or actor — tap any name to see everything they've made • A custom reset day — start your week on the day you actually watch $2.99 per month or $19.99 per year. five. is not a streaming service and is not affiliated with any streaming provider. It tells you what's worth watching on the ones you already have.
