Many apps claim to give you personalised advice on how to support your child’s development. Many focus on a single area of development or the curriculum. You might have several on your phone. How about if you just needed one…? That’s why we built Dewie. Reviewed by UCL and featuring Cbeebies presenters Ben Cajee and Joanna Adeyinka-Burford, Dewie helps you map your child’s development holistically. We then support you and your child to learn the way you like to learn, working towards helping you both make a great start in school. Informed by world-leading academics from Europe, US and Canada, Dewie is designed to be your early years sidekick. What can you do on the app? You can: ⁃ Access the world’s first school readiness bootcamp for you and your child to work through together. ⁃ Use our Dewie Development Monitor to understand your child’s development stage and understand if they might need additional support in a specific area ⁃ Search fun, low-resource activities and stories across our development areas- activities are a mix of active, desk-based, audio and video activities ⁃ Book time with teachers and development specialists ⁃ Join our new, supportive community of parents, teachers and early years practitioners ⁃ Pair your profile with your nursery or childminder, so you can provide a seamless learning journey for your child.
