Daily Personal Contract
Read full descriptionHide full description
Write a daily contract to yourself! With the Daily Personal Contract app, you can explicitly write out what you commit to doing each day, sign the contract, and assess how well you fulfilled your self-commitments. Each day, the app will start with a blank contract. When you save a contract, the contract is saved in the Contract Log so you can look back at all the work you’ve put in. Individual contracts can be deleted from the log. If you delete today’s contract from the log, the app resets the contract, and you can start over. Within the app, you can also set reminders to help you write a contract at the beginning of the day or to assess your efforts at the end of the day. Motivation for the app: Ultimately, we are responsible to ourselves—we answer to no one more than we do to our own conscience. Our self-esteem is built on the foundation of consistently keeping the commitments we make to ourselves. These commitments don't have to be grand; small, daily efforts are what lead to sustainable improvement over time. When we explicitly write down what we intend to do, those intentions become concrete rather than vague ideas. And by signing our commitments, we introduce a powerful form of accountability-one that ties directly to our personal integrity, reinforcing the importance of following through.
