Every home cook has nights when dinner goes pear-shaped. It still happens to us, and we cook for a living. Tell Live Kitchen Rescue what's gone wrong or what's in the fridge, and it will talk you through what to do next, step by step, in plain English. We're Dan Burrell and Steven Snowdon, two Michelin-trained chefs and National Chef Team gold medallists. We built this for the nights at home when you just need to know what a chef would do. WHEN IT GOES WRONG Too much salt, a sauce that's split, rice that's gone claggy, chicken you've taken a bit too far. Say what's happened and you'll get the fix in the order you need to do it. No lectures, and no scrolling through a recipe blog to find the answer. WHEN THE FRIDGE LOOKS EMPTY It usually isn't. Two eggs, half a pepper and the end of a block of cheese is dinner if you know what to do with them. Tell the app what you've got and it will build a meal around it, so less goes in the bin and fewer nights end in a takeaway. ALLERGIES IN THE HOUSE Tell the app once what your household can't eat and it remembers. Recipes and fixes are built around that list, and it flags the allergens it can spot before you start cooking. Always check the label on the packet too. We'd rather remind you every time than get it wrong once. FEEDING EVERYONE FOR LESS The weekly shop costs more than it used to. The app shows you the swaps that work, the cheaper cuts worth buying and what's in season right now. Some of the best food we've ever cooked started with the cheapest thing in the shop. MACROS WITHOUT A SECOND APP Protein, carbs and fat are tracked in the same app you cook from, so there's no second app open on the counter. MEMBERSHIP Sous Chef is available monthly or yearly, and the yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial. Prices are shown on this page. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you can cancel any time in your Apple account settings. Whatever's in the fridge tonight, you don't have to work it out on your own.
