Watever vs WUD

Social media has been the same for fifteen years. The feeds look different, but the architecture is identical: follow, post, scroll, repeat. The biggest platforms in the world were built for a world that no longer exists. Watever is built for what is next. We are not adding features to a broken model. We are rebuilding the social layer from the ground up, combining real-time communication, live experiences, community, commerce, and presence into a single, coherent platform. No switching apps. No fragmenting your audience. One identity, one place, full range. At the center of it all is a question no social platform has ever seriously asked: what if location was not a limitation? With Teleportation, users are no longer bound to their physical coordinates. You can place yourself in Lagos, Tokyo, or Mars, and your feed, your community, and your content all shift with you. This is presence decoupled from geography, offering a glimpse of how social interaction will work when the world gets smaller and the universe gets larger. Watever also ships with live streaming, a real gifting economy built on virtual currency, community spaces with native moderation, events, commerce, and direct messaging. These are not bolt-ons; they are first-class experiences designed to work together seamlessly. The large platforms have the users. We have the architecture. Watever is the platform for the next generation of social behavior: serious about scale, serious about creators, and serious about what comes after the scroll. https://watever.co/terms

WUD turns "what's everyone doing tonight?" into a one-tap answer — for you, your friends, and their friends too. Post what you're up to in the next few hours — coffee, gym, surf, dinner, gaming, anything at all. Your friends see it instantly. Their friends see it too, if you want them to. Anyone in the circle can tap join. No algorithm chasing strangers, no endless scroll, no plans that die in the group chat. Just real people, real plans, today. HOW IT WORKS Open WUD and you'll see what your friends — and their friends — are running for the day. Tap any plan to RSVP, react, or jump into the per-plan chat with everyone going. Tap the + button to post your own: pick a category, say what you're doing, choose now or later. Done in ten seconds. Not sure yet? Float the idea instead. "Anyone keen for dinner Friday?" Send it to a few friends, see who's in, lock it in as a real plan once enough say yes. MEET YOUR FRIENDS' FRIENDS The best people you don't know yet are one degree away. Post a plan publicly and a friend-of-a-friend can see it the moment any of your direct friends joins — that's how new circles form. Want it tighter? Flip the plan to friends-only or to a specific squad. You decide who sees what, every time. FEATURES • Today's feed of plans from friends + friends-of-friends • One-tap join, with confetti when you commit • Per-plan chat — messages, photos, polls, emoji reactions • Floats — soft proposals before you commit • Squads — named groups so the right plan lands with the right crew • Live Now — flip yourself live for an hour and let friends find you • Pings — one-tap "anyone bored?" broadcasts • Smart suggestions for your mornings, your big nights, and what's starting soon • Add any plan to your calendar with one tap • Push notifications you can quiet per category PRIVACY You control the audience on every single plan. Public means your friends and their friends can see and join. Private means only your direct friends. Squad means only the squads you tag. No public timeline open to the whole internet, no algorithm trying to keep you scrolling, no data sold. If you add a phone number, it's hashed and used only to match contacts who are already on WUD. WUD is for spontaneous plans with the people you actually know — and the ones you're about to.
