About

Nisa Classroom Capture

Features

Nisa Classroom Capture is a professional recording tool for instructional coaches and teachers and the schools and districts they partner with. It is the mobile companion to the Nisa coaching platform, built for one focused job: capturing a classroom lesson on video so a coach can reflect on it and help a teacher grow. WHO IT IS FOR Nisa Classroom Capture is a private, organization-provisioned tool for authorized instructional coaches, coordinators, educators, and teachers. Access is granted by your school or district through your Nisa account. There is no public sign-up, and the app is not intended for general consumer use. HOW IT WORKS - Sign in securely with your Google or Microsoft work account (single sign-on). There are no separate passwords to manage. - Record a lesson using your device camera and microphone. - Attach the recording to the appropriate teacher on your roster. - The video uploads privately to secure cloud storage. - Your Nisa coaching pipeline prepares a transcript, summary, and chapter-level highlights from the lesson audio. - Review everything in the Nisa web coaching hub, where the recording appears as a coaching touchpoint alongside the rest of your work with that teacher. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Recordings are private to the coaching relationship. A captured lesson is shared only with the authorized coach and the teacher's coaching record inside your organization's Nisa workspace. There is no public feed, no social sharing, and no browsing of other people's content. Classroom recordings often include students, so the app is intended solely for authorized use within a school or district's coaching program, in line with your organization's consent and privacy policies. BUILT FOR COACHING, NOT SURVEILLANCE Nisa Classroom Capture exists to help teachers grow. It turns a single lesson into a shared point of reference that a coach and teacher can reflect on to-the-moment notes with a calmer, evidence-based conversation after the fact. REQUIREMENTS - An active Nisa account provisioned by your school, district, or coaching organization. - A Google or Microsoft work account for single sign-on. - Camera, microphone, and photo library access to record and upload lessons. ACCOUNT DELETION Recordings tab, then the privacy link at the bottom, then Privacy and Data, then Delete my account. Tick the confirmation box, type the account email, and confirm the alert. The account locks immediately, signs out on every device, and the data is deleted within 30 days.
