Verdict
The Mint and Pristine Barbershop both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Pristine Barbershop's written reviews are positive against 64% of The Mint's. Pristine Barbershop also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.6). The Mint's advantage is ratings volume (2.1K vs 6) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
