Scooter Speed is a simple speedometer app that uses your phone's GPS receiver to calculate your current speed and measure your travelled distance. It is completely free, with no adverts or any data collection/tracking. I made this app because there were no free speedometer apps that weren't either riddled with adverts or charging a subscription. Hope you find it useful!

The app uses GPS data to calculate live speed, distance and route information. Accuracy may vary with signal quality, tunnels, tall buildings, device placement and local road data. Turn on the alerts you want before you set off. You can use voice speed warnings, limit prompts, camera notices, HUD mode, live map tracking or Apple Watch companion views. For longer journeys, background trip tracking and power-saving mode help keep the essentials running.
