NYTENNIS was made by a New York City recreational tennis player, for New York tennis players. If you play tennis in NYC, you know we have our own weird and wonderful little world. Figuring out which courts are playable, finding someone (or some doubles buddies) at your level, navigating waitlists and local court quirks, wondering whether the courts are open or dry after rain, and trying to find someone who wants to hit when you do. I wanted one place built specifically for that. NYTENNIS brings New York’s recreational tennis community together in one place. No more hopping between 12 social media chats and feeds, 14 message boards with questionable personalities and gatekeepers, a pile of group chats on your phone, or apps that weren’t designed specifically for our city and our weird little tennis world. Just one place to find players, discover courts, share what’s happening at the courts right now, and ultimately spend less time figuring out how to play and more time playing. FIND YOUR PEOPLE Discover NYC players by level, location, home court, play style, availability, and more. Favorite players you’d like to hit with and message them directly. FIND A MATCH Post or browse Play Alerts when you’re looking to rally, hit, play a match, or get a group together for doubles. KNOW BEFORE YOU GO Court Reports let players share current conditions, closures, wait information, tips, and other useful updates with the people headed there next. KNOW YOUR COURTS Explore courts across the city, choose your home court, save your favorites, and learn the little things that make every NYC tennis spot different. BUILD YOUR TENNIS COMMUNITY Create your player profile, share how and where you like to play, connect with other players, and make NYC tennis feel a little less anonymous. New York tennis is weird, wonderful, occasionally chaotic — and full of people who just want to play. NYTENNIS is for us.
