Pick a stock and it hatches into a pet. StockPet turns real stocks into hand-drawn animals that grow when your stock goes up. Every drawing in the app is colored by hand in pencil, so your pets look like they jumped off a sketchbook page. WATCH THEM GROW Your pet starts small. As its stock climbs, it evolves into something bigger and rarer. If the stock slides, your pet gets sick, and if it falls to -75%, it’s gone for good and rests in the Graveyard. THE SHOP Dress your pets in a top hat and monocle, a chef hat with a soda, or a For Sale sign. Pick up Stock Certificates for battles, freeze a pet in a Market Bubble, or use a Rebound to bring a pet back from the Graveyard. COLLECT THEM ALL There are 50 animals to find. Every one your pets become gets pasted into your Pet Book for good, even if that pet later drops. BATTLE YOUR FRIENDS Add friends with a code, send StockCoins and notes, and challenge them to a battle. The pet whose stock does best wins the prize. EARN STOCKCOINS Collect daily coins, earn rewards when your pets evolve, and set price targets for bonus coins. LEARN AS YOU PLAY Each pet comes with The StockPet Times, a little newspaper about the company behind it, plus a Word of the Day to pick up the language of the market. StockPet uses end-of-day stock prices and is a game for fun and learning. It isn’t financial advice, and no real money is invested.

Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: StockPet at 100% against Bread's 47%. StockPet also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and in-app purchases (none vs 2). Bread's advantage is ratings volume (70 vs 2) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
