After a couple of years there are some updates to this app. This app is now focused on just English and Welsh rain, river and tide levels. If your looking for Scottish levels and the ability to subscribe to Scottish flood warning notifications then look for FloodPro Scotland on the App Store - its dedicated to SEPA data. UkFloodPro is now dedicated to English (Environment Agency) and Welsh (Natural Resources Wales) data. This release - 2.66 - includes the ability to subscribe to FFC forecasts. These are released every day around 10:45am by a joint effort by the Met Office and the Environment Agency. Please note that all Scottish data and views will be removed in the next release. However - I'll be keeping the functionality to view all United Kingdom warnings (excluding Northern Ireland) i.e. England, Wales and Scotland. I'm committed to always having a free version of the app that will allow people to get river, rain, tidal levels and flood warnings to better help them prepare for environmental incidents. The current features include :- - View the EA/Met Office 5-day flood forecast in summary and detail - View river, rain and tidal levels for England, Wales and Scotland - Ability to save river, rain, ground station or tidal station to your Favourites (river only for Scotland and Wales) - View all flood warnings in your vicinity, or all of England from the Environment Agency & closest river stations in that warning area - View ALL flood warnings from England, Scotland and Wales combined in a single view including distribution totals - View the closest river stations for a flood warning area - see the river levels that matter in that area (England only) - View all flood warnings for Scotland using SEPAs new API - View all flood warnings for Wales using the Natural Resources Wales API - View all stations on a specific river on a map (England only), a great way to view river levels summary - Search by river name - View the current LIVE rainfall data from 909 rainfall stations in England - Map screen that displays all river, rain, ground water and tidal stations (England only - Scotland map only shows river stations currently) - Filter map display to show river, rain stations, tidal etc. - View Flood Warnings for map area And did I mention...no adverts. My thanks to the UK Environment Agency, SEPA and Natural Resources Wales for providing the detailed data.

Mountain Weather helps hillwalkers, climbers and wild campers choose where and when to go, with independent forecasts for named hills, climbing crags and mountain regions across Scotland, England and Wales. FIND A GOOD HILL DAY Search UK hills and regions, compare daily weather and views scores, and explore forecasts on the map. Check wind and gusts, rain, summit temperature, cloud base and top, clear-summit chances and changes through the day. Save reports for use with poor signal. CLIMBING AND WILD CAMPING Named-crag forecasts bring together climbing conditions, rain, rock drying, wind exposure and sunshine, with links to BMC access information. Overnight camping forecasts cover wind, rain, temperature and condensation, plus moonlight and night-sky context. AFTER DARK Explore aurora and night-sky guidance for a chosen viewpoint, including cloud, darkness and moonlight. Save an aurora watch to hear when a viewing opportunity is forecast. Aurora forecasts are uncertain and do not guarantee a sighting. WATCH THE CONDITIONS YOU WANT Follow a hill, crag or region for good-weather alerts. Watch for multi-day weather windows, dry or settled spells, manageable winds, clearer summits, climbing conditions or possible inversions. Planned-objective watches help you monitor your chosen dates. Manage your notifications in one place. PLAN AND EXPLORE Compare the weekend outlook, discover possible inversions and check typical conditions for future trips. Recent webcam cloud observations are available for supported mountains. Weather-based kit prompts help you consider what to pack. CLEAR AND PRACTICAL Adjustable text sizes, dark-mode support, saved forecasts and connectivity feedback make information easier to read and use. Midge encounter guidance appears where relevant. CROSS-CHECK BEFORE YOU GO Mountain Weather is independent and is not an official warning or avalanche-forecast authority. Follow Mountain Weather Information Service (MWIS) and Scottish Avalanche Information Service (SAIS) publication alerts, then open their reports on the providers’ websites. Check Met Office warnings, relevant avalanche information and the conditions you observe. External websites need a connection. Mountain Weather is free to use, with no display advertising or subscription. Optional trip-planning accommodation links may earn us a small commission if you book, at no extra cost to you. A forecast is part of the decision. Weather can differ sharply from valley conditions. Scores rate forecast weather, not terrain, underfoot conditions, avalanche hazard or your party’s experience. Carry suitable equipment and be ready to change your plan.
