An app designed to support anaesthetists during caesarean section/operative birth. The app makes it easier to record the time of important events, administration of important drugs, intravenous fluids and blood products. These times can then be transcribed into official documentation when convenient. The times are also automatically stored in a text file and can be exported. By making this process easier it reduces the cognitive burden on anaesthetists in what can be a time pressured and high stress case. It provides two stopwatches, one for the time since the app opened, which is recorded as time since bleeped. The second one for time since anaesthesia e.g. time since spinal in.

The RA-UK App is a comprehensive resource for the performance of regional anaesthesia. It is based on the popular textbook, the RA-UK Handbook of Regional Anaesthesia with added interactive content. RA-UK is the UK national society for regional anaesthesia, and it has over 1800 members worldwide. Blocks for each body part are comprehensively described, including the popular Plan A blocks. Interactive diagrams, photos and tables show each block's sonoanatomy, drug dosing, equipment choices, etc. Plan A blocks are free for all users after registration, members of RA-UK will be able to see the full version of the app with all content unlocked.
