BMK THunter turns the BMK ThermalHunter sensor into a thermal detector on your phone. The sensor measures the air temperature at your flying field and sends it over Bluetooth. The app shows every change the moment it happens, so you can spot a rising bubble of warm air and launch your model glider or aircraft at the right time. SEE THE THERMAL COMING • Live ΔT: a large readout shows how much the air has warmed or cooled compared with your reference, always with a + or − sign. • Scrolling graphs of air temperature, and of air pressure and wind speed when the optional wind sensor is fitted. • Re-centre the reference with one tap, reset the graph, and choose a separate scale for each graph. • Dynamic time range: pinch to zoom from the last minute out to the last 30 minutes, and drag to look back. HEAR IT WITHOUT LOOKING • Thermal sound: a vario-style tone follows the temperature trend. Short beeps speed up and rise in pitch as the air warms, low slow tones sound as it cools, and it stays silent when nothing changes. • Sensitivity follows the temperature scale you choose for the graph. • Keeps working with the screen locked or while another app is open, and plays alongside your other audio. BUILT FOR THE FIELD • Sunlight theme: white, high-contrast screens designed for direct sun. A Night theme is available too. • Colour-blind-safe graphs: lines differ in colour, width and end marker, so colour is never the only cue. • Optional "screen always on" while you fly. • A clear warning when data stops arriving, showing how old the last reading is. SIMPLE CONNECTION • Connects over Bluetooth Low Energy and reconnects to your last sensor automatically, including after a dropout. • Shows the sensor's battery voltage and signal strength. • Rename your sensor from the app. Requires a BMK ThermalHunter sensor. Without a sensor, the app shows sample data only.

About

SOS Mountain

In the mountains, an incident can happen quickly: a fall on the slopes, a medical issue during a hike, or simply a lost skier. In such moments, speed and accuracy make all the difference. SOS Mountain was created to give you a simple, clear, and effective response: just one button to press, and rescuers immediately know where to find you. An app designed for emergencies SOS Mountain isn’t meant to be complicated. No complex menus, no maps to handle, no unnecessary features. Everything is built around one essential action: alerting rescuers as quickly as possible. Are you in trouble? You press “I need help.” Your GPS position is transmitted to the appropriate services, and the emergency call is launched. That’s it. And that’s exactly what’s needed in a situation where every second counts. Direct access to ski resort emergency services in France Each ski resort in France has its own emergency numbers: ski patrol, medical posts, mountain gendarmerie, emergency medical services… The app integrates this directory and connects you directly to the right service, without wasting time. Reliable automatic geolocation When an alert is triggered, your GPS position is retrieved and transmitted to facilitate the rescue operation. Rescuers receive: your precise geographic coordinates (latitude, longitude), your altitude, the exact time of the request. This information saves valuable time in the field and allows teams to be sent to the right place immediately. Respect for privacy Safety also means protecting your data. SOS Mountain does not track your movements and does not use your personal information outside of an alert. Your details are only transmitted when you press the “I need help” button. No ads, No unnecessary data collection, No sharing with third parties. Your peace of mind and trust are at the heart of the project.
