NU Pool is an independent, student-built app that helps students at Northeastern's Oakland campus find people going where they're going. Heading to a concert, the city, the airport, or just dinner off campus? Post a Plan or join one, see who's in, and figure out getting there together. PLANS • Make a campus-visible Plan anyone in the pilot can join, or an invite-only one for people you choose • Keep the exact meeting spot in private details that only confirmed members can see • Chat with everyone in the Plan in one place GETTING THERE • Pick how your group is getting there: split a ride, BART, or the campus shuttle • See live BART departures right in the Plan • Split a ride: NU Pool matches you with students heading the same way, opens a Ride Room to coordinate, and works out each person's share of the fare • Open Uber or Lyft straight from your Ride Room when it's time to book YOUR PEOPLE • Find classmates by name and connect • Private and group chats with your connections • See which Plans and events your connections are going to YOUR DAY • Add your class schedule and see a live countdown to your next class • Connect your Canvas calendar to see what's due today and this week • Get an evening reminder when something is due tomorrow BUILT FOR CAMPUS • Every account is verified with a Northeastern email • Block or report anyone, and delete your account from the app at any time • No ads, no tracking, and NU Pool never asks for your location NU Pool is an independent student project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Northeastern University. NU Pool does not provide drivers or process payments; rides are booked by students through the ride service of their choice.
