Most budgeting apps want you to connect your bank. Every purchase lands in a feed you look through later, after the money's already gone. Ldgr is built for the moment right before you spend. There's no bank to connect and nothing to import, on purpose. You add every purchase yourself and watch the number drop, so you always know what's left. HOW IT WORKS • Make a budget for anything (groceries, date nights, coffee) with a spending limit that resets daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly. • Add a purchase in a few seconds. An amount, a date, and a memo if you want one. • Watch what's left. The big number on every screen is what's left to spend, and the bars go from green to orange to red as you get close to the limit. • Look back when it resets. Each period starts fresh, and you can page back through the old ones to see how you did. ON YOUR HOME SCREEN Add a widget for one budget or a summary of all of them, and see what's left without opening the app. Tap it and you're already adding a purchase. SHARE A BUDGET Share a budget with your partner, family, or roommates through iCloud. Anyone can add a purchase, and each one shows who added it. WHY I MADE IT At my day job, every spending budget gets its own virtual card. Each purchase still needs a memo from you, and that little moment keeps you in touch with how much is left in each one. No bank I could find offers that for personal budgets, and every budgeting app wants you to connect your bank so it can organize everything for you. That's the opposite of what makes the system work. So I built Ldgr for my wife, and once it had widgets and notifications, I put it in the store. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Your budgets live in your own iCloud account and only sync between you and the people you invite. Nobody else can see them (not even me). No analytics, no ads, and no tracking. Ldgr is free.
