Meet in real life and we'll guarantee an easy conversation with our flow of fun and interesting questions that are scientifically proven to accelerate getting to know someone. After the meet-up, let us know how it went. If you two clicked, we'll schedule you to meet again. Over the course of a year, we'll introduce you to 10, 20, 30 or more new people you're likely to click with. Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Covalish holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Covalish's written reviews are positive against 100% of Proper NYE's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Covalish ships an update monthly, Proper NYE every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
