CookDrop saves recipes from the places you find them and turns each one into a clean page you can cook from. SAVE FROM A VIDEO Found a recipe in an Instagram Reel, a TikTok, a Facebook post, a YouTube video or a Pinterest pin? Tap Share, choose CookDrop. It reads the caption, listens to what is said in the video, and writes out the title, ingredients with amounts, and numbered steps. You check the result and tap Save. SAVE FROM A WEBSITE Paste the link to any recipe page. CookDrop keeps the ingredients, steps, servings and cook time, and leaves the rest of the page behind. The source link stays on the recipe so you can open the original. SAVE FROM A PHOTO OR FROM TEXT Take a photo of a cookbook page or a handwritten card and CookDrop reads it. You can also paste recipe text from a message or a note, or write a recipe from scratch. COOK FROM IT - Change the servings and every amount is recalculated. - Switch between the original units, metric and US units. - Tick off ingredients as you add them. - Each step shows its ingredients in color, so you do not scroll back to the list. - Cook mode shows one step at a time in large type, with a timer when the step gives a time. - Estimate nutrition per serving from the ingredient list. - Ask a question about the recipe, such as what to use in place of an ingredient. KEEP IT ORGANIZED - File recipes into cookbooks you name. - Search by name, sort the list, pin the ones you make most. - Mark a recipe as cooked, give it a star rating and add a note for next time. - Put recipes on a weekly meal plan as breakfast, lunch, dinner or a snack. - Add a recipe's ingredients to a grocery list sorted by aisle, and check items off as you shop. - Browse Discover when you do not know what to cook. NO ACCOUNT There is no sign-up. Your recipes are stored on your iPhone. When you save from a link, a video or a photo, that link or photo is sent to our service to be read and the recipe is sent back to your phone. FREE AND PLUS CookDrop is free for 5 saved recipes a week. Everything you have saved stays available. CookDrop Plus removes the weekly limit: - $39.99 per year after a 7-day free trial - or a 30-day trial for $1.99, then $39.99 per year - or $6.99 per month Prices are for the United States and vary by country.
