PortalDex is an unofficial fan-made collection tracker for Skylanders figures. It is not made by, affiliated with, or endorsed by Activision. If you are looking for the official Skylanders app, please visit Activision's website. —— Keep track of every figure you own across three toys-to-life lines — Skylanders, amiibo, and Disney Infinity. Browse the complete catalogs, log your collection, watch your completion percentage grow, and never lose track of what you still need — all offline, no account required. **Browse the Full Catalog** The built-in Skylanders database covers all six games and every figure type — characters, traps, vehicles, expansion packs, creation crystals, and trophies. Filter by game, element, rarity, or type. Tap any figure to see its details and add it to your collection or wishlist in one tap. **Three Collections in One App** Switch between three parallel catalogs, each with its own dashboard and completion stats: • Skylanders — all six games • amiibo — the full lineup across every amiibo series • Disney Infinity — figures, play sets, power discs, and toy box games (1.0, 2.0, 3.0) Each line is tracked separately, so completion stays meaningful for every collection. **Price Guide** See an indicative, community-maintained value for each figure — loose and boxed — shown in your choice of 16 currencies. Values are a rough guide for trading and insurance, stored offline; the app never estimates a price it doesn't have. **Track Your Collection** Your dashboard shows overall completion as a percentage and breaks progress down by game and by element. Tap any stat to drill into the full list. One tap shows every figure you are still missing. Another shows your duplicates. **A Fan-Built Database** base figures and named collector variants across all six games: • Spyro's Adventure • Giants • Swap Force • Trap Team • SuperChargers • Imaginators Collector editions are included — Eon's Elite, Legendary variants, Glow in the Dark, Phantom, and Dark editions. Crossover figures (Donkey Kong, Bowser, Crash Bandicoot, Dr. Neo Cortex) are tagged separately. **Rarity Tiers** Figures are tagged by rarity so you can focus on the hard-to-find ones first. The Rare Only filter on the Missing screen shows only Legendary, Elite, and Crossover figures at a glance. **Duplicate Manager** Own more than one copy of a figure? The duplicate manager lets you track quantities and decide which extras to trade or sell. **Wishlist** Found a figure you still need? Bookmark it to your wishlist in one tap. When you later add it to your collection, it is automatically removed from the wishlist. **Personal Notes** Attach free-text notes to any owned figure — where you bought it, its condition, whether it is for trade. Add as many notes as you need. **Offline & Private** No account, no cloud sync, no subscription, and no in-app purchases — everything is included. Your collection is stored locally on your iPhone and never leaves your device. A few optional links (buy online, contribute a photo, suggest a price correction) open in Safari; nothing else connects to the internet. —— DISCLAIMER PortalDex is an independent fan app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, licensed by, or connected to Activision Publishing, Inc., Nintendo Co., Ltd., or The Walt Disney Company in any way. Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: PortalDex at weekly against Scanfig's every 3 months. PortalDex also leads on review sentiment (75% vs 58%). Scanfig's advantage is ratings volume (377 vs 10) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Scanfig holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Scanfig has 377 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of Scanfig's written reviews are positive against 75% of PortalDex's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Scanfig ships an update every 3 months, PortalDex weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
