Just because someone needs someone to talk to doesn’t always mean they’re going through a major crisis. You might have moved to a new city. You might be working from home. Your life rhythms might have drifted apart from those of your old friends. Or maybe you’re just looking for someone to share some good news with. Fathom 97 is a text-based social app where adults come together to chat. Here, you share not only the things you’re struggling with, but also your joys, your curiosities, and how your day went. HOW IT WORKS 1. You create your profile: what kind of friendship you’re looking for, your interests, and how often and at what times you like to chat. 2. Every day, you’ll receive a few match suggestions. Each suggestion clearly explains why it was recommended. If you’d like, you can send a chat invitation. 3. If the other person accepts, the chat begins. No one can message you without your acceptance. 4. If you’d like, you can join chat circles of four to six people centered around a shared topic. 5. If you’re having trouble finding a topic, chat cards are here to help. WHAT WE DON’T DO • This isn’t a dating app. We don’t offer romantic matches. • We don’t display compatibility percentages, like counters, popularity rankings, or attractiveness scores. • You don’t upload photos. You choose one of the pre-made avatars. • Income, marital status, height, or physical appearance do not factor into matching in any way. • If there’s no one in the pool who’s a good fit for you, we’ll tell you honestly. We don’t fill the gap with fake accounts. THE LIMITS ARE UP TO YOU If you don’t want recommendations, you can specify that. If you won’t be able to message much this week, you can let us know. You can mark topics you don’t want to discuss. You don’t have to explain why. You set your own quiet hours. Every chat includes options to pause, end, block, and report. Blocking takes effect immediately. ACCOUNT AND DATA You can download your data at any time and delete your account. Deletion requests are processed across all systems. The app is available in Turkish and English. It is intended for users 18 years of age and older. PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS Get full access to Fathom 97.
