PseudoLearn
Read full descriptionHide full description
PseudoLearn is a learning environment for writing and running pseudocode. Write an algorithm and step through it at four different speeds. As it runs, the code, the flowchart, the Nassi-Shneiderman structogram, the UML class diagram and the trace table all point at the same instruction. Watching them move together is what turns a list of steps into an idea you actually understand. WHAT'S INSIDE • An editor with live diagnostics that mark the exact range of the problem as you type. • Guided step-by-step execution with pace control. • Flowchart, Nassi-Shneiderman structogram and UML class diagram, synchronized with execution. • A trace table that inspects variables, arrays and references between objects. • Translation of your algorithm into Python and Rust, so you can see the same idea written in an industrial language. • A knowledge base of fifteen modules across three levels, with activities and checkable exercises. • Exercise checking against visible and hidden cases: it tells you what is missing, without punitive scoring. • A personal library of documents, available offline and synchronized across your devices. WHO IT IS FOR For anyone starting to program who needs to see what their algorithm does, and for anyone teaching it who wants to show them. Available in Spanish and English.
