SIMTA is a timer you read at a glance. Set a time and the whole screen fills with color. As the seconds run out the color drains away, so you can tell how much is left from across the room without reading a number. SIMPLE BY DESIGN • Spin the dial, press start. That is the whole setup. • No accounts and no subscriptions. • Red and Teal are free. SIMTA Pro adds thirteen more colors, and My Colors lets you pick any color yourself. SIMTA PRO — ONE PURCHASE, NOT A SUBSCRIPTION • Thirteen more colors, plus My Colors for picking your own, with the home screen icon to match. • Lock the apps that distract you while a timer runs. • Every time you have run, kept in Recent. • No ads. MADE TO BE GLANCED AT • Horizon Lock keeps the color level with the room as you tip the phone or prop it in a stand. • The controls fade away once the timer is running, so nothing sits on top of the color. • Hide the digits entirely if you only want the color. • Keep the screen awake while a timer runs. • The countdown carries on to the Lock Screen and the Dynamic Island, with pause, resume and stop right there. RELIABLE • The countdown stays accurate after you switch apps or lock the phone. • A running timer survives the app being closed. • The alarm is audible even with the silent switch on. Good for cooking, focus sprints, workouts, study blocks, and anything where you would rather feel time pass than watch a number. Timedisk

A timer you can read from across the room — and watch drain to nothing. Timedisk shows time as a shrinking disk. A wide coloured wedge fills the screen, and as the minutes pass it visibly disappears. There are no digits to decode and no arithmetic to do: you glance at it and you know how much is left. That is the whole idea, and it works for the people a digital clock has always failed. SET IT IN TWO SECONDS Drag your thumb around the dial to any length, or tap a preset — 5, 10, 15, 25, or one of your own. Start. That is the entire interaction, which matters when starting is the hard part. MADE FOR ADULTS, NOT ONLY CLASSROOMS Visual timers have been styled for six-year-olds for twenty years. Timedisk's default look is clean, quiet, and grown-up, and it can sit on your desk in a meeting without announcing anything about you. When it is for a child, kid mode flips it to big playful shapes and colours. IT KEEPS PERFECT TIME Set it, put the phone face up, walk away, and glance over from the other side of the kitchen. The countdown keeps perfect time even if you close the app or restart the phone, because it counts down to a fixed moment rather than ticking along — and the alert still arrives at zero. CHAIN A ROUTINE Build a routine out of steps — dress 10, breakfast 15, shoes 5 — each with its own label, length, and colour. Timedisk runs them back to back, chimes between them, and always shows what is running now and what is coming next. Mornings, bedtimes, homework blocks, cleaning sprints, lesson changeovers, physio sets. FOR TIME BLINDNESS If you have ADHD, or you look after someone who does, you already know that "five more minutes" is not a unit anyone can feel. A disk that visibly empties turns an abstract number into something you can watch arriving. The same goes for autistic routines, for children who cannot read a clock yet, and for anyone who looks up and finds an hour gone. ALERTS THAT LAND Pick a sound per timer, feel the haptic, and see the screen flash at zero. Through the last stretch the colour shifts to warn you it is nearly up, so the end never ambushes you. Keep the screen awake whenever the disk is on show. PAY ONCE, OWN IT Buy Timedisk Lifetime and it is yours: no subscription, no renewal, no losing your routines because a card expired. An annual plan with a free trial is there too, if you would rather start that way. FREE The complete timer — the disk, presets, alerts, escalating end-of-timer warnings — plus one saved routine of up to three steps. Nothing about the core timer is held back. TIMEDISK PRO • Unlimited routines with unlimited steps • Themes, including kid mode and dark • Custom alert sounds per timer and per step Everything happens on your phone. No account, no sign-up, no cloud, no ads, and no data leaving the device. Pro is available as a one-time Lifetime purchase or as an annual auto-renewing subscription that opens with a 7-day free trial. Prices are shown in your own currency before you buy. A subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel any time in your App Store account settings. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription. Timedisk is made by Adelyons Software LLC. Questions or requests? Email dev@adelyons.com. Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Timedisk at none against SIMTA's shown. Timedisk also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). SIMTA's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
