Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: NovelFull Audio at 3.8 against Hogfell's 3.0. NovelFull Audio also leads on ratings volume (91 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.6). Hogfell's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and review sentiment (50% vs 30%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NovelFull Audio sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month. Hogfell asks for nothing beyond the download.
NovelFull Audio holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NovelFull Audio has 91 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 30% of NovelFull Audio's written reviews are positive against 50% of Hogfell's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
NovelFull Audio ships an update monthly, Hogfell every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
