Whirl vs Projectpal

Whirl is built around a simple idea: spend less time talking about hanging out and more time actually doing it. Designed to help people spend less time wondering what everyone wants to do and more time actually doing things together, Whirl makes it easy to keep up with friends, find things you want to do, make plans, and get together in real life. Whether it’s grabbing coffee, heading to the gym, going hiking, catching a concert, or planning a night out, Whirl helps turn “we should hang out sometime” into actual plans. Keep Up With Friends See the activities and moments your friends share. Posts are organized by activity, so it’s easy to keep up with what everyone has been doing and find inspiration for your next hangout. Find Out What Friends Want to Do See which activities your friends are interested in and let them know what you’re up for. When interests line up, making plans gets a whole lot easier. Make Plans Together Create plans, invite friends, organize groups, or discover plans you can join. Whether it’s happening tonight or weeks from now, Whirl keeps everyone on the same page. Know Who’s On the Way Heading somewhere together? Friends can share their ETA so the host knows who’s on the way and how far away they are. Share What You’ve Been Up To Share photos and videos from your favorite activities, add a caption, and give friends a glimpse into what you’ve been doing. Features: • Share activities with photos and videos • See what activities your friends want to do • Browse friends’ posts organized by activity • Create groups and make plans together • Discover plans and join in • Share your ETA with the host • Get notified when friends want to hang • React to posts and stay connected • Explore 70+ activities to do with friends
