Relevé
Read full descriptionHide full description
Learn to dance with the videos already on your phone. Relevé is a practice studio in your pocket, and it works on any dance video you have saved, no matter who made it. Open a video in the studio, and it becomes something you can actually practice: - Slow it down and the music always stays in tune. - Loop the section you keep missing and go over it as many times as you need. - Always start dancing on beat. Choose a 4 or 8 count to get you ready. - Record yourself next to the video and watch the two side by side. Long routines are easier in small steps. Guided practice helps you practice in small sections, so you take one, then the next, then put them together. When you find a move difficult to get, it takes you aside for a short breakdown of just that move, then drops you back where you were. Some videos come with more. Dancers and teachers post their choreography on Relevé, and every video on Relevé was posted by the person who made it. They can add dance tips or technique breakdowns to help you out when you're stuck: how to move your shoulders, leg and hand coordination, and more. As you practice a section, their tip for that section comes up - the same thing they would tell you if you were in the same room. All tips carry a short clip of just that move. Live classes run in the app. A teacher sets a time, you join from your phone, and everyone in the room is on camera and mic. You always follow along with the teacher in sync, which a video call cannot give you. Relevé is also where you find other people who dance: - Follow dancers and teachers you like. - Save choreographies to practice later. - Comment and post your own practice takes when you want people to see them. There is no library to pay for. Relevé is here to get you moving, at your own pace, and to make it fun. You can start dancing on Relevé without an account, so what are you waiting for? Stop scrolling, start dancing.
