We dedicate the Jicarilla Apache Language App 2 to the cherished memory and legacy of the late Mr. Edward Velarde, former President of the Jicarilla Apache Nation. He sincerely believed in his people and strongly supported preserving the Jicarilla Apache language, values, and beliefs. The app consists of the following: - 30 Language Categories - Over 500 entries of phrases/words - 3 Levels of interactive games - 3 Types of quizzes - Culture Notes Section - A searchable database and more All audio recorded by the Jicarilla Cultural Affairs team members. The Jicarilla Cultural Affairs requested that Thornton Media release this app on their behalf. This Jicarilla Apache Language App 2 was developed to preserve the most significant and cherished gift the Creator bestowed upon the people: the Jicarilla Apache language.
